This is an introduction to the problems associated with first responder flood responses in urban or built-up areas. This course includes Victim Rescue, Animal Rescue, HAZMAT Response, Fire Response, Utility Hazards, Structural Integrity Issues, Physical Hazards, Jurisdiction, Operating in the Marine Environment, Planning and Preparedness, Problems Unique to Marine Responses, Response and Tactical Considerations, Safety and Incident Management.
Target Audience:
Appropriate target audiences include firefighters, fire officers, EMTs, paramedics, EMS officers, police officers, police supervisors, emergency management personnel and others. Private sector agency personnel may also benefit from this program
